Crete is in the southernmost part of Greece and it’s located at the meeting point of three continents. Because of this strategic position Crete has become the cradle of a culture and a history quite unique in all of Europe. Visitors to the island should allow at least a 2 weeks stay in order to really get to see it all. Each of the towns and coasts have such different natural beauty and culture. A wide range of beaches and traditional villages tucked away amidst olive groves, as well as a variety of music and food, quite different from what you can find in other parts of Greece. Its climate, especially in the Southern part, facing Lybia, stays mild until late in the Autumn. Our properties are located a bit everywhere on the island thus giving the opportunity to tour the island comfortably.
ISLAND TOUR BY CAR
If you would like to see as much as possible of Crete but you have little time on your hands, you could choose to rent a car for a week. Your car will be waiting for you at the airport of Iraklio or Chanià and from there you can start your tour. The locations have been carefully chosen in order to give you the opportunity to visit a wide range of places in Crete. All hotels where you will be staying are “C” category and the rooms are with bathroom. They are located in central, yet quiet areas. Breakfast is included.
